Just doing some more pre-conference homework and came across an extremely interesting exchange. Originally found it on Stowe Boyd’s page (self described “well-known media subversive;” that’s pretty funny). It comes from Corante’s Suw Charman and concerns Creative Commons’ hiring of Bzz Agents. You can follow the entire thread from here, but the most interesting thing is the founder of BA’s post and Charman’s measured yet biting response. What I liked about it was her codification of some of the key aspects of blogging. Useful to a creator of a new blog, for sure. So that constitutes tip #3 for me (and anyone else out there) today. There’s more I’d like to say about the tensions that Charman is exploring, given my own background in so-called buzz generating. But it will have to wait while I dash off uptown.
