Why do it?

Simply put, there is just no substitute for the experience of watching your customers try their best to navigate a system that you have designed for them. Correlate each failed attempt or disgruntled user with a tangible economic loss and you have a powerful justification for the relatively small investment that a focused program of testing requires. Many of our clients value this input so highly that they build a User Testing phase into every development project and wouldn't dream of launching a product without first testing user reaction. We couldn't agree more.

What's Delivered?

Catalyst will manage the entire test planning and administration process. Before testing, we will produce a Participant Screener that's used to recruit testers and a Moderator's Guide that provides a detailed script for the walkthroughs. During testing, we moderate the sessions and record all participant actions, attitudes and reactions. After testing, our clients receive a detailed Testing Report that summarizes the rest results and documents specific user comments.
