Jeffrey Zeldman has expanded on his earlier snark on Tag Clouds (the very amusing “Tag Clouds are the new Mullets”) with a much longer and detailed critique (with the equally amusing title: “Remove Forebrain and Serve”) of the red-hot Tag “meme.” This is a great post, from which I am tempted to quote liberally. Instead, let me just say that anyone who, like me, is still wondering what the fuss is about, should read it. This post is filed under our new “Diary” category as a reminder to myself that blogs can stimulate interest and facilitate productive debate even when they row against the tide.
