Walking the Walk: Our New Website
Well, it hardly needs repeating that we should practice what we preach. But as cliched as that concept is, almost equally hackneyed is the idea that consultants in design and communications don’t always apply their expertise to themselves. In order to avoid this pitfall, we’ve been modifying our new corporate website based on targeted user feedback over the last few weeks during a beta testing period. And we felt obligated to post this: it’s been hard to hear some of the reactions. From copywriters to UI and visual designers, no one’s been spared and choices have been challenged. That said, it’s been an immense validation of our own process. We’ve seen it in action for clients, of course. But nothing drives the truth home so much as when it applies to you. We’re now live with the site but we’re still collecting feedback and even making changes. And blogging about it. Which, of course, invites comment: feel free to let us know what you think.
