Recently, Catalyst became one of Techsmith’s featured case studies. Techsmith is one of the premier providers of screen capture and screen recording software. In particular, they make an impressive product called Morae (in their terms, “the industry’s first all-digital, software-based solution that records and synchronizes user and system data for usability analysis of software, Web sites, Intranets and e-Business applications.”) In a nutshell, this is a sophisticated software package, the capabilities of which match Catalyst’s goal of making usability more usable - because with an all-digital system, we can do more, of higher quality, for clients with less equipment while also driving costs down. This is part of what allows a boutique like us with a very senior staff to earn the loyalty of major corporations like Boeing, Metlife and JPMorgan Chase.
