We were new to blogging too - so don’t worry if all this seems a little complicated. Once you get some basic terms down, it becomes much simpler. In fact, of late, it’s getting increasingly easy to subscribe to a blog, while still being free.

By “subscribe,” we mean: use something called RSS (really simple syndication) to feed our content as it is posted in real time to your computer. Basically, RSS is a mechanism allowing you to know when we’ve written something new without having to constantly return to our site to check. Below are some helpful links explaining a bit more about the process and the technology:

- A more thorough tutorial on RSS in general, as well as on using other applications besides Yahoo’s to syndicate blog feeds.
